Cabaret Evenings

Nathan and Julie in an evening of cabaret and conversation.  Songs like “The Piano has been Drinking” (Waits) and “Time” (Thalken), “If ever I would leave you” (Lerner/Lowe) and “I love a piano” (Berlin)

“The Gunns are Midwesterners, and they both ooze low-key affability. It’s a delightful contrast: he’s the chatty front man, she’s the slightly more formal foil who supplements his banter and sometimes amusingly disagrees with him. If there’s a more charming husband-and-wife musical team on the circuit, I can’t think of them…” – Orange County Register

Drytown

Where did you get your start?

It’s a question often asked of experienced artists. For Julie Jordan Gunn, things began in part in Drytown, California, a gold-mining-town-turned-summer-theatre-destination where, as Julie was growing up, the Jordan family would join the Claypipers Performance Troupe to present comedic melodramas and a special children’s showcase. Things built from there for Julie—and the story eventually included Nathan, too.
